Chasing X Payouts with "Aggro" Content and Remotion

Making the Most of X Premium: The 500 Follower Goal

Since I’m already paying for X (Twitter) Premium, I felt like I had to get my money’s worth. Looking at the monetization requirements, the biggest hurdle was getting 500 verified followers.

So, I had a thought: “Why not create some ‘aggro’ (attention-grabbing) content to speed things up?”

The Magic Word: “Weekly Pay”

The word that kept ringing in my head was “Weekly Pay” (주급). It’s provocative, direct, and exactly what people want to hear. I decided to build a short video around this keyword.

1. Music: ElevenLabs Music Generation

I initially logged into ElevenLabs to use their API for something else, but I noticed they added a music generation feature. I typed in a few keywords, and it spat out a background track in seconds. It was surprisingly decent, so I decided to use it.

2. Video: From Flow to Remotion

I first tried using “Video Flow” to create something flashy, but it just didn’t click with my workflow. I gave up on that pretty quickly and went back to my usual tools: Codex and Remotion.

Generating video with code might sound overkill, but it gives me the granular control I need.

The Result: Perfectly Shabby

The final video isn’t exactly the masterpiece I had in mind. However, the “shabby” or “low-budget” look actually felt right for the “aggro” vibe I was going for. It has that B-movie charm.

Check out the result below:
