X (Twitter) Account Suspended Again: What Is the Rule, Really?

Suspended “Again”: My Frustrating Journey with X

X account suspension notification

Today, “yet again,” my X account was suspended.

I say “yet again” because when I decided to embark on a solo developer journey, I wanted to start fresh with a business-branded account rather than using my old personal one. However, right after creating the account and posting a link to my website and a single blog post, it was flagged as “spam” and suspended.

Initially, I thought, “Frustrating, but okay.” I had read that posting links immediately after account creation could trigger such flags. I filed an appeal, got the account back, and tried to start over.

But yesterday, it happened again. I seriously don’t understand what their criteria are anymore.

The only thing I did a few hours before the suspension was following back some users who were already following me. And I was careful to only follow those with a verified checkmark (Blue/Gold/Grey).

This company is truly bizarre. While I understand the need to curb spam since Elon Musk took over, it’s incredibly discouraging when legitimate users trying to build something are constantly blocked like this.
