Why I Added a Blog to Myven

A workspace for the Myven blog AI-generated image; this is not my actual workspace.

I’ve added a blog section to Myven. https://myven.app/blog/

Myven’s first goal was to build something for creators. But when I stop and think about it, I can’t really call myself a creator with complete confidence. I build products, document the development process, and write posts like this from time to time—that’s about it.

That is exactly why I felt I should try it more directly. It didn’t seem right to build tools for creators without understanding how they share their work, build relationships with people, or how difficult it is to keep showing up consistently.

On the blog, I plan to collect what happens while building Myven, what I learn about the creator ecosystem, and the small experiments I try along the way. I also want to run Instagram myself and learn what kind of content gets a response, and how promotion and conversation actually feel in practice.

I’m not trying to build a grand media outlet from day one. I just want to leave an honest record of what I’m learning and where I get things wrong. If that becomes a small reference for someone working through similar questions, that would be great.

There is still a lot to learn, but I think making, using, and sharing things myself is the best way to build Myven a little more thoughtfully. I’ll take it one step at a time.
