Privacy Policy
Dasi English Vocab · Effective November 4, 2026
This policy covers the Dasi English Vocab app for iPhone, iPad and Android, made by Studiojin. The studiojin.dev website is separate: its other pages use their own analytics and cookies, which you can review under Cookie settings on those pages. This page loads no analytics or tracking.
Dasi English Vocab has no account or sign-in and no developer server, and the developer never receives your personal information. If you don’t own Lifetime Access (Pro), the app shows Google AdMob ads, and the information below is sent to Google to serve them.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
- Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID or the iOS identifier for vendors (IDFV)
- IP address and an approximate location derived from it (country or city level)
- Ad interactions, such as impressions and clicks
- Diagnostics: errors and performance of the ad SDK
If you don’t own Lifetime Access (Pro), the app shows a banner at the bottom of the screen and at most one full-screen ad a day after a study session. With Lifetime Access the app shows no ads and does not start the ad SDK. Ads are provided by AdMob from Google LLC, which collects the information above while loading and showing ads and sends it to Google. Google uses it to serve and measure ads, for analytics, and to prevent fraud such as invalid clicks and for security. The app does not ask for personalized ads: every ad request is non-personalized, so ads are not chosen from your interests or your activity in other apps and websites. On iPhone and iPad the app does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). Ad content is limited to an all-ages rating. How Google uses information from partner apps is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and Google’s privacy policy is linked below.
Consent in Europe
Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland see Google’s consent message before any ads are loaded and can choose not to consent. If you don’t consent, Google shows only limited ads or none, according to your choice. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings › About › Ad privacy choices.
Affiliate banners (Coupang Partners, NordVPN, AliExpress)
When the app language is Korean, the banner space at the bottom of the screen alternates between AdMob ads and affiliate banners. The developer may earn a commission on purchases made through these banners. The Coupang Partners banner is loaded from Coupang’s servers, so Coupang may receive your IP address and device and browser information; the app does not pass your advertising ID to Coupang. The other affiliate banners are images built into the app and send nothing until you tap them. Tapping a banner opens the partner’s page in your browser or the partner’s app, and from then on that company’s privacy policy applies. People with Lifetime Access (Pro) don’t see them.
Managing your advertising ID
On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Privacy › Ads. To remove ads entirely, buy Lifetime Access (Pro).
Stored on your device only
- Study records: words you have learned, review schedules and ratings
- Settings: language, theme, daily limits and reminder time
- Whether you own Lifetime Access, and the date a full-screen ad was last shown
This information is never sent to the developer. Deleting the app deletes it. Device backups follow Apple’s or Google’s backup policies.
In-app purchase
Lifetime Access is paid through the App Store or Google Play. The app asks the store whether you own it; the developer never receives your payment details, name or store account. Payment information is handled under Apple’s or Google’s privacy policy.
Reminders
Daily review reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No information is sent anywhere to deliver them. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Pronunciation
Recorded pronunciations are bundled in the app. Other words are read aloud by your device’s built-in text-to-speech.
Crash reports
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may provide the developer with crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you. You can turn this off in your device’s privacy settings.
Deleting your information
The developer keeps no information about you, so there is nothing to ask the developer to delete. Study records on your device are deleted when you delete the app. Information collected by AdMob is handled under Google’s retention policies; on Android you can delete your advertising ID to stop it being linked from then on.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. Ads are requested as non-personalized only and limited to an all-ages rating.
