Spring Garden Noise, Myven Beta Prep, and My Cat

Cat nagging me to make money

The seasons are changing, and the weather lately is perfectly balanced—neither too hot nor too cold. Naturally, it’s the season for tending to gardens. A landscaping company has been working around my apartment complex for a few days now. There are half a dozen workers carrying chainsaws and using leaf blowers, so it has been incredibly noisy 😅.

This week, my goal was to gather some users for the public beta of myven. However, things are getting delayed because I need to get Meta app review approval first. I initially thought I could just focus on features and deal with the review later, but it seems I need the review to make the app public so that webhooks can be properly received.

On top of that, I need to look into Payment Gateway (PG) integrations and secure some AWS credits. I reached a point where I thought, “It’s about time to start the beta,” but then I realized there are still a lot of things lacking, and more work needs to be done.

Everyone always preaches about launching small with an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). I am feeling the weight of that advice this month more than ever. I tried to build a “Swiss Army knife” MVP that covers everything, but that approach just ended up delaying the project. I’ve realized my mistake, started cutting out the excess, and am now strictly focusing on the core MVP. I am absolutely determined to launch the beta this month!

Finally, the image attached is an artwork I traced of my cat (Koko). Since I’m not great at drawing, it looks a bit weird, but I wanted to express the vibe of my cat nagging me to go out and make some money 💸🐱.
