Why the change?
In my first post, I went with AGPL because, frankly, I have bills to pay. But it felt clunky and didn’t fit the vibe of what I’m building.
I’m aiming for “Open Source-ish.” While I’m not hitting the strict OSI definition yet (turns out, licensing is a rabbit hole I’d rather not live in), I want the code to be accessible while keeping the lights on. If I ever strike it rich or don’t have to worry about “living expenses,” maybe I’ll go full MIT/Apache. For now, this is the middle ground.
Status Update
The app is still in the oven, and the release is a bit out. I just wanted to get the legal plumbing out of the way so I can get back to the actual work.
